All of DeeTra designs are unique in their own way. I don't mass produce my items and I ALWAYS strive to create unique leather goods. It's also just me - no middle man. All work is done in my shop in East Bethel, MN. I stand behind my items and will do 'minor' repairs for free. I am a person the customer gets to know and I get to know the customer. It's never just an order form that goes into a pile.

Years! I grew up watching my mom sew.  I remember the dreaded trips to the fabric store. It was incredibly boring for a young girl. The highlight of the trips were when my brother and I got to ride in the carts. Not sure if you remember the carts at a fabric store back in the 1970’s but they were vertical and not horizontal. Picture a chariot being pulled by horses…we did. Hiya! Hiya! I aced sewing in home economics in the eighth grade. Fast forward a few decades later and here I am sewing and creating for a living. It's my passion and what I love to do. 

It depends on the project. I try to match the best leather to the project and the product use. Each project needs a different stiffness/pliability. 

 I buy from suppliers within the state of Minnesota and online through trusted sources that I have personally vetted. I won't buy leather unless I have felt it first.

I use local fur distributors. And just like my leather - I want to feel it and make sure it's quality before purchasing.

Sure do. It's located in East Bethel, MN (just north of the cities). My shop is available by appointment only - but I try and make myself as accessible as possible including evenings and weekends. I also attend various events during the summer where I will have my items on display. Once we get closer to the schedule I will be positing the event calendar online.

Your satisfaction is my goal. If something isn't right we will determine the best way to get it adjusted. That's my commitment to you.

We currently do not offer "real time online ordering". My goal is to offer that soon - but for now, if you SHOP and see something you are interested in,  complete the contact form and I will show you what I have available. We can facetime or video conference or I will send pictures. Once you decide, I will ship from my shop in East Bethel within 2 business days.

This can totally vary. A custom jacket could take several weeks. A custom knife sheath could take an hour and be ready for pickup. If you are interested in custom, I suggest completing my Custom Creation Request Form and we can discuss specifics.  

I'm flexible. We can determine the best approach. Many customers will Contact Me with what they need altered or repaired and attach a picture of what needs attention. We then will work on specifics and pricing and handle through traditional mail/delivery.

This can vary depending on the item and materials the that are used. I'm happy to review all pricing including sale items if you find something you are interested in. 

All sales are final. However, I will work with you to make any adjustments necessary to insure your complete satisfaction.
